Ethan is taking up the first challenge and is embarking on an expedition to Borneo to help the local community. He will be helping to construct buildings, clear beach pollution, plant trees to combat deforestation, and help secure the orangutan habitats.
We will keep you up to date with the planning and preparation for the trip and the fundraising to get him there!
Our plan is to start making an impact on the world and the environment. The first challenge is Borneo.
Borneo is the third-largest island in the world and the largest in Asia. Ethan plans to head there to work with the local community for a month to create better living conditions for the local community and for the environment as a whole.
He also plan to replant trees and collect rubbish from the beaches. This will help the wildlife both aquatic and land based.
Ethan will experience true off-grid living, trekking through the heart of the Bornean jungle and helping to protect orangutan habitats. He hopes to discover a totally different way of life, living as part of a rural community and working together to create sustainable change.

Other camps have helped to build community centres and toilets.
When Ethan gets to Borneo he will be set a project to assist the community with and construct something that will make their lives better.
He will learn to use construction tools and techniques which he can then bring home / use on further projects
There has been extensive deforestation and destruction to the habitats of the Orangutan.
The expedition will allow replanting of trees in protected areas and plantation of food sources.
The expedition will incorporate true off-grid living, trekking through the heart of the Bornean jungle and helping to protect orangutan habitats.
Ethan hopes to discover a totally different way of life, living as part of a rural community and working together to create sustainable change.
He will live and work in a rural community and spend some time out in the jungle under canvas.
